Born in Santiago de Compostela Spain in 1975, Jim grew up in Australia where he was exposed to a wide variety of multicultural influences. He graduated with a Bachelor of Industrial Design from RMIT University, Melbourne and has been based in Italy since 2001 where he has collaborated with several design studios including Forakis Design, Giovannoni Design and Sebastian Bergne Ltd. He currently works independently for companies such as Industreal and Alessi, and finds inspiration in new technologies and cultural misunderstandings.
