Dodo Arslan, an italian designer with armenian origins, lives and works in Milan.
Recently he has been included in Taschen’s book Design Now!, an in-depth exploration of contemporary design collecting the latest works by 90 of the world’s leading designers and manufacturing companies, and in Design/Art Limited Editions, a complete and updated overview of designart creations by 70 international designers.
Arslan received Young&Design, Mini Design, Pirelli Pzero and Art Directors Club’s awards.
His products have been displayed at Welltech Award at Museo della Scienza e della Tecnica in Milan, Inside Art at Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro and Italian Design on Tour in New York, Las Vegas, Shanghai, Munbai, Berlin and London.
The Triennale Design Museum of Milano dedicated him a Personale exhibition, a CreativeSet representing his designing method through his most interesting works, and an Electa catalog.
Arslan gave courses, workshops and lectures in design’s universities in Italia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Egypt, England, Spain and Sweden.
Before founding his studio Dodo Arslan worked at Studio&Partners (N. Bewick, M. De Lucchi, T. Fritze, E. Torri) for Deutsche Post, British American Tobacco, Zumtobel Staff and won the Design Plus Prize.
Dodo then joined Continuum (Boston-Milan-Seoul) where he worked for Motorola, Hewlett Packard, Elan, Voelkl, Samsung and won the Good Design Award and the KIDA Grand Prize.
